It is understandable that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life, which may cause cancelling an appointment. In our desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:
With 36 hours advance notice we will be glad to re-schedule your appointment or you may opt to have a friend or family member substitute in for that appointment. The 36 hour notice allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to provide 36 hours advance notice, it will be handled based on the circumstances. If this happens a second time you will be charged the full amount of your appointment, which must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment. Future appointments may require payment in advance.
*Note: If you are sick (cold, flu, fever, contagious, vomiting, diarrhea) within 36 hours before your scheduled appointment, contact us PRIOR to your appointment to re-schedule.
If you do not call or show for your scheduled appointment, you will be considered a “no-show.” All future appointments will require payment in advance and any prepaids will be forfeited.
If you arrive late, your session will be shortened to end at the previously scheduled time in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, it will then determined if there is enough time remaining to start a session. Regardless of the length of the session actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other clients, please plan accordingly and be on time.
* Draping will be used at all times.
* Sexual references and inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. The session will be ended immediately and reported.
* Inclement weather: In the case of ice, snow or freezing rain, please consider your safety and that of your therapist. We will contact you to confirm or re-schedule your session. However, if you have not heard from us, please contact us with any questions or concerns you have.
